Cold-carton send
Sending fridge medicines within South East Queensland
Collection from the pharmacy is recommended. If necessary, we can send fridge-line IVF medicines in a validated cold carton on request.
The rules in one place
- On request, within South East Queensland.
- Validated cold carton that holds fridge temperature for up to three days.
- Signature required. Someone must be there to receive it.
- Never left at the door. No safe-drop, no parcel locker.
- Dispatch Monday to Thursday, so nothing sits over a weekend.
- Order by midday for same-day dispatch. After that it leaves the next business day.

What we will not do
- Send a trigger, or anything else, that is due tonight. If the dose is close, collect it or have someone collect it for you.
- Promise overnight delivery anywhere in Australia. This is an SEQ service.
- Send without a valid prescription in hand, or before we have spoken with you.
- Leave a carton unattended for any reason.
How it works
- Send the eScript token or clinic notification to admin@cottontreepharmacy.com.au.
- We call you to confirm stock, devices and needles, the delivery address and who will be home to sign.
- We confirm the send day and the cost with you before anything leaves.
- We pack the carton in the dispensary, seal it and hand it to the courier.
- Put the medicines straight into the fridge when they arrive, unless we tell you otherwise.
Timing matters more than distance. Give us the day your cycle starts as soon as you have it, and we can plan a Monday to Thursday dispatch that lands well before you need it.
Local delivery is different
Non-fridge medicines for people in Cotton Tree and the surrounding suburbs go out with our own local delivery, not by cold carton. See home delivery.
Ask us for the cut-off
Send the script, then call. We will tell you whether a send makes sense for your dates.
